September 2026Data now updates twice a day
Storage figures now update in the evening, shortly after GIE AGSI+ publishes the previous gas day (about 19:30), instead of only the next morning. A second run early in the morning adds late reports, completed pipeline flows and new weather forecasts. The track record keeps scoring the morning forecast of each day, so its figures stay comparable with earlier months.
September 2026A clearer site: answers first, one page per topic
The dashboard now opens with the three questions most visitors ask — how full storage is, where it will be in two weeks, and whether it could reach the alarm level — next to the 14-day forecast. Details moved to their own pages: Storage, Supply, Markets and the track record.
September 2026Pipeline flows for four countries were out of date
From 10 August the per-pipeline flow chart for Germany, the Netherlands, France and Czechia kept showing 8 August, because days with a missing value stopped the export. Fixed on 14 September; current since the update of 15 September. Storage forecasts and corridor stress were not affected.
September 2026New: winter outlook for Germany
Will German gas storage last until spring? The winter outlook now runs to 1 April: three cases, the middle one carrying the current supply pattern forward, each replaying the weather of a named past winter, with the physical injection ceiling, announced Norwegian maintenance, and what drives the result. It combines daily AGSI+ storage data with national flows from the Bundesnetzagentur, and each case carries how far it was from the outcome when tested on last winter. Deterministic cases, not probability forecasts.
September 2026Fewer features, same free data
User accounts, the keyed data API, the annual outlook and the monthly reports were retired so the daily forecast gets the attention. Everything on this site stays free and without sign-up.
March 2026Seven countries
Coverage grew to Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, France, Czechia and Poland. Each country has its own calibrated model with a daily 14-day forecast and a P10–P90 band; how well those bands hold is published on the track record.
February 2026Austria added
Austrian storage is mostly porous-field storage, so deliverability drops as fill falls; the model corrects for it. Seven weather stations (Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, St. Pölten) feed the heating-demand input.
